It didn't rely on shitty toilet humor for one thing. The animation overall also still felt very Alpha And Omega-ish, aside from the dinosaurs themselves who looked not so good.
But it still fell flat on it's ass because of a wasted plot, annoying human co-stars (what was the point of bring back the trappers?), the Madagascar-ish fountain dances, the wasted "wolfburbia" concept, turning Humphrey into a whiny "coyote"... Yeah, there's a lot of issues in this one. But it's still better than Norm Of The North. All the A&O movies put together are better than Norm Of The North.

yea, i really didn't like how Tom Kane turned Humphrey into a whiner in this movie. i mean, i get that he hated the place, but there was no reason for them to keep beating it down our throats! the "wolfburbia" concept and the humans were pointless, but the fountain dance scenes were the worst! but even with all that, it's still better than that animated atrocity of January
