I agree that we haven't got a decent male character in a while, but if they're going to appear in two scenes like Nicholas did, then I'd rather not have them at all. Rule number one of movies/plots: If a character can be removed without seriously affecting the plot, then he doesn't need to be in there. posted over a year ago.
