Comparing a book with its filmes version

Personally, I don't much like any of the ones that you picked out. But, since you seem to have a Nicholas Sparks thing going on, The Notebook (both book and movie version) was amazing, as was A Walk to Remember. You could also do:

My Sister's Keeper
Alice in Wonderland (any version)
Harry Potter
Angles and Demons or Da Vinci Code
Precious
The Time Traveler's Wife (This might be a good choice because the book was much more confusing, I hated it, and it jumped all over, whereas the movie, which I loved, flowed nicely.)
The Reader
The Boy in the Strpied Pajamas
The Golden Compass
Eragon
The Taking of Pelham 123...

There are a ton, really. I would do the Time Traveler's Wife if it were me, but good luck!

These are some books I personally would choose, but by looking at your list, you probably wouldn't like any of them. Oh, well.

Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' (The movie is not even remotely like the book)
'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' or 'Through the Looking Glass'
'Phantom of the Opera' by Gaston Leroux
Any of the 'Sherlock Holmes' stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
'Sleepy Hollow' (this is one hell of a short book so this would be ideal if you are in a rush)


And a personal favourite of mine, 'Sweeney Todd' by Robert L. Mack.

If it is for school, I would try to do a book that is a little more advanced than these. Well, Christine is probably okay to do. The rest? Just don't; too simple.

The ones I may say?
-My Sister's Keeper (just finished that book about an hour ago... so good!)
-Interview with the Vampire (extremely well written, best vampire book of the century)
-The Princess Bride (better than it sounds, trust me)
-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (very good book, I'd use the older movie)
-Harry Potter (but you'd have to be sure to be serious about it. HP can be either serious or playful, depending on how you do the project)

i think you should do twilight cause you have allready read it and the movie is really different than the book. but if you want a differnt book then harry potter 1 through 6 but they are pretty long books.

I think you should choose the Twilight Series I read Eclipse and BD But I've just started reading New Moon and I never knew how much they cut out in the Movie so you could compare how much they changed Hope I helped :)
