What are some good teenage books that are NOT Twilight?

well i may like the twilight books but there r other good books out there if u like romance there r good books by rachel hawthorne and if u like paraanormal romance there is a series called the touch series and if u like horror i would recomend anything by stephan king but there r books out there that r kinda like twilight but r written much better and if u didnt like the twilight books than maybe u would like the vampire academy series i know its about vampires but it is really nothing closly realated to twilight so enjoy

How about the Wicca (US, Sweeps) series by cate tiernan. No vampires but witches and they're romantic.

well Marked is a really good book, but its about vamps so idk

the dark is rising series is good, it's fanticy.

I recommend the Ghostgirl series, it's awesome and it's a hundred times better than Twilight

i could suggest better vampire books if you want but anyway.

I would recomend the Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelly Armstrong. They have nothing to do with vampires, but they are about the supernatural. She's a great author and the series is addicting. I hope you try them, they truly are good. One of my favorites anyways.

Vampire Academy is also REALLY good, and is nothing at all like twilight. 10x better!

I recommend The Giver by Lois Lowry, it was a truly amazing book.

the house of night series are really good but if your looking for non- vampire books. i suggest THE ABORTIONIST'S DAUGHTER BY: Elisabeth Hyde its really good and its a mystery book:)

Lord Of The Flies, or maybe Howl's Moving Castle. Or maybe....Pride And Prejudice And Zombies. I like that one. ^w^

Sorry I can't recommend any teenage novels,but I would suggest reading Alice in wonderland,even though it's a childrens story.

The only thing I read it manga. Sorry, love. If your intersted in manga, I would recommend the classics at best. Anything Rumiko Takahashi, because it is usually comedy, a slice-of-life, action, romance, and a graphic novel in any of her series':
Urusei Yatsura - 34 books
InuYasha - 46 books
Ranma 1/2 - 38 books (I thought this was the greatest series ever~)
Maison Ikkoku - 15 books

I also recommend Wedding Peach, Lovely Complex, Soul Eater, Chibi Vampire, Lucky Star, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which is also a typed-novel.

There are so many good books out there and I agree about Twilight - nothing to go crazy for at all. IF you want a good vamp series, Vampire Diaries is good (but only through the first four books - cause after that they really suck). Also the book Impossible by: Nancy Werlin, The Left Behind Series by: Jerry B. Jenkins & Tim Lahaye (There's 13 of them, plus a prequel trilogy), and The Outsiders by: S.E. Hinton. EVERYONE should read that book - one of the best ever written! And the book The Blue Castle by: L.M. Montgomery - you'll love how the heroine sticks it to her horrible family! LOL Lastly (that I can think of right now), Ordinary People by: Judith Guest. Pretty much the absolute best book I've ever read and the movie is actually just as good as the book in that instance! :) Hope this helps!
