The Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz
It's about a teenage girl who finds out she's really a vampire- there's a love triangle: Schyler falls for the handsome vampire, Jack, but he is going to be forced to be bonded to his twin soul, Mimi, even though he loves Schyler and Schyler's best friend (Oliver-he's human) falls for Schyler and while all this is going on a bunch of seriously evil Silver Bloods (sort of like devil-vampires) are trying to take over.
There are currently 4 books in the series and more coming out: Blue Bloods, Masquerade, Revelations, The Van Allen Legacy.
I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO ANY FAN OF THE FANTASY GENRE!!!!!!!

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SOMETHING ELSE THAN VAMPIRES STORIES (because there is a lot more to read ... ! - *don't get me wrong, I've read the Twilight Series and I enjoyed it a lot*), HERE ARE TWO SUGGESTIONS:

[1] JOSY - A SCI-FI/FANTASY ROMANCE
By Victoria Rose

2005 – 172 pages

The planet Gareth is being destroyed as the Rose sisters prepare to leave. They agree to travel in one body--Christina's. She takes the soul-spirits of Toni and Josy into herself, reduces her body physics to light waves, and travels at the speed of light through space. She arrives in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado via sunbeam and materializes on the naked back of sunbathing Mac Dakota. Her second problem--after food, clothing, and shelter--is to find bodies for her sisters. In this third romance novel in the Rose Sisters Trilogy, Josy finds her man in Sheriff Thomas Day. She agrees to marry him, with one contingency. But there's more--much more! Josy tells us of her culture: Their focus on the well-being of the planet and community, concepts of education, means of exchange, extended family, and the use of hydrogen as their source of energy. Interested? . . . Please read this book.

[2] BLUE BAMBOO: TALES OF FANTASY AND ROMANCE
By Osamu Dazai

1993 - 184 pages

Stories deal with a man who changes into a bird, a brother and sister who share special powers, and family members who take turns telling a story. Stories that combine fantasy and romance with Osamu Dazai's own psychological concerns reveal the optimistic, humorous and idealistic side of a writer too often typecast as dark, pessimistic and self-absorbed.

ENJOY!

Check out www.theangelsofthenight.com for a new vampire romance series "Angels of the Night: Discovery." Although the series will not hit the shelves until Aug. 2011, the author lists her blog where you can find an excerpt from the book.

The main characters are a little young but it's so obvious they will fall in love. I can't wait for the third book.

I have a few suggestions: (these r all romance or paranormal romance books cuz that's the kinds of books I like to read)

The Hunger Games(really good I'm sure u know what it's about)

The "Celestra" series(I love this series it awesome it's about the people with gifts and this boy and girl have the same mind reading gifts and they fall in love and creatures chase them cuz ur not supposed to b in love with a person that has the same gift as u so the boy says that the girl should pretend to b dating someone else so the creatures will think that they've moved on from each other so she starts pretend dating the boys cousin that likes her and he has a gift of seeing the future and he said that they were gonna get married some day but the girl don't know if he's just sayin that cuz he likes her or if he really saw it in the future and by complete accident the girl fall in love with the boy she's pretend dating but still loves the first boy and she don't know wat to do its a really awesome series I think anyone would love it)

The Dream Realms series(this is kind of just like twilight)

The Fallen Star series(a star falls out of the sky and gives a boy and girl special gifts and the feel connected cuz they both have the star's energy in them it's really good)

In Dreams(very very very good it's about a girl thats about to start college that has dreams about this guy and she thinks it's her dream guy and thinks she's gonna meet him the first day but she meets another guy and falls in love with him instead but she can't completely fall in love with him cuz she's still attatched to the guy in her dreams and has to figure out what to do its not really paranormal romance it's just plain romance)

Maximum Ride(kids that are part bird part human that are chased all the time by scientist that are trying to use them to help take over the world it's kinda funny in some parts and it's not really a paranormal romance book but it does have some romance in the books)

I hope u like these books!!! Tell me what u think!!!

I would suggest The Hunger Games as I'm sure many people have suggested to you beforehand-But also, look into the Sookie Stackhouse novels (The ones that True Blood is based off of) by Charlaine Harris, the Savannah Vampire Chronicles by Raven Hart, The Modern Faery Tales by Holly Black, Divergent by Veronica Roth (This will eventually be a trilogy), Soul Screamers volume one by Rachel Vincent, and if you're into something a little more graphic, you might look into the Fifty Shades trilogy by EL James (I have yet to read any of those, I'm just going on what friends have told me). Good luck, and if you find anything that is really amazing, please pass on the recommendation!
