What are some really good romantic authors or books?

The "Water for Elephants", written of Sara Gruen, is very romantic and sad

Nicholas Sparks has several romantic books. For example "Dear John" and "the Notebook". I recomend both the books and the movies. Love them<3

I like the Buchanan series by Julie Garwood. She is an amazing mystery romance author. I also really like Johanna Linsey. Forgive me for they are "descriptive" but I enjoy the plots of the mysteries and Johanna Linsey writes historical romance novels. Julie Garwood does too, but I like her FBI novels best. the anne of green gable series is a great romance series, or you shoild read nicholas sparks' books, mostly all are romance, but one of his best is ' a walk to remember'
