can anyone tell me the title of this book?

okay so ive read this book about a girl who got bitten by a vampire, i think because she did turn into a vampire, so she needs to leave her family behind to go and attend this vampire school.
I think she kinda obtain some sort of powers or something, i don't really know though

The OP doesn't actually remember them getting bitten, she says she thinks the girl got bitten because she turned into a vampire. She's filling in the blanks with prior knowledge.

But they didn't have to leave their families to go to this school, not really. And they don't get bitten in VA, they're just born.
