Can you please help?

Im looking for a teen romance book where theres a girl and a best guy friend and the girl meets this guy an they go out until he does something then she realizes that she actually loves her best friend. I know it sounds like twilight, but i keep reading fantasy vampire books and Id like a nice romance book. So can you find a book with that storyline? Thanks a lot.

Well, I kinda know a book with little chuncks of romance. It's Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinsey.
The books of that series with a bit of romance are: Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Rodrick Rules, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the last straw and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dog days.
