Defintley Pretty Little Liars! BEST SERIES EVER! and the shows are also extremley good 2! And another is Dirty Little Secrets, The Twilight Series, and thats all I can think about now ;)

House of Night series and Gracling, Fire, and Bitterblue

Hmm well since someone suggested House of Night, i suggest you read Vampire Academy. It's a very good series that finished a few years ago. There is also a sequel to it called 'Blood lines' which i have not read. If you're worried as it's another vampire book it's going to be like Twilight don't worry it's completely different and so much better the vampires are way more realistic. It will keep you in suspense (:

and nice reading level ^^ im 13 too, i don't have a high reading level even though i read so much. I have an average reading level in my opinion but that doesn't stop me from reading whatever i want. xD

Mortal Instruments. Meaning? Check. (It's a bit hard to find, but it's there if you look for it.) Romance? Double check. The series is FILLED with romance. Action? Triple check. I don't want to spoil anything, but I'll say that the main characters are some kind of hunter. You can see how it'd have action. Suspense? Check. There's a mystery to the plot-line that has you constantly wanting to turn the page & read more. Not to mention, there's humor in it and the characters are really well developed.

Well I love The Tiger's/Tiger's Curse Series, The Mortal Instruments Series and The Hush Hush Saga but I don't exactly say that these series are for kids.
Young Adult. But everyone can read it.

Awesome, I'm 12 with a 12th grade reading level too! The 39 Clues and The Secret Series don't have much romance. But they do have meaning, suspence and action. I won't spoil too much, but in TSS, this one kid almost gets sacrificed, and in T39C, these kids are trapped in a mine shaft with spiders and a snake!

I would suggest Fallen by Lauren Kate. It is filled with suspense, fallen angels, romance, and a bitter self-repeating loving fate for main characters Lucinda Price and Daniel Grigori.

You should try Lemonade Mouth. It's waaay better than the movie. It's great. There is everything you're looking for. So why are you reading this? Go read Lemonade Mouth!

Vanpire kisses, maXimum ride, the vampire diaries, twilight shiver, fallen, hush hush, mortal instraments (city of bones), halo, unwind, everlost, clockwork angel (same author as city of bones), once in a full moon, vladimir todd... Thats about it

you should definitley read the host by stephanie meyer. even if you dont like the twilight series you should still read this book, it is amazing!!!! it is honestly my favorite book of life.
other suggestions are elixir by hilary duff, the darkest powers trilogy by kelly armstrong, and i am number four by pittacus lorre. or you could just watch that movie :P

The Luxe series by Anna Godbersen.

The Watchers Trilogy by Karice Bolton is filled with romance and epic battles. The first book, Awakening, sets the stage and Legions just knocks it out of the park with epic battles and romance. Can't wait for the last book of the trilogy!!

Also loved Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion. Not what I thought it would be, but it was great. It's a stand alone book.

You should read Marked.It's a series and it's good.You should also read Cinder.I'm 13 and read at 9th grade level but i only read good books that are more than two hundred pages.

Anything by Maria V. Snyder.
Her Inside series is a Dystopian series and if you liked Hunger Games you will love it.
Her Study Series is also amazing

Read the Skinned trilogy by Robin Wasserman. It's a suspenseful series with a little bit of romance, though not as much as these others novels.

It's an amazing series!

I can't suggest anything with "meaning." I do have other ideas. Try Jurassic Park, Twilight, Harry Potter, Stephen King, Anne McCaffrey, Inheritance, Chronicles of Narnia, and The Princess Bride (a very good fairy tale).
