What is the point of ebooks

I don't know.

I thought they were used for people who can't read, and some person speaks the chapters or am I getting it confused with something else??

But if they're not then I suppose it's to prevent papercuts? :P

I think the purpose is for people that have the reading things like Kindle and the Sony Reader. You download it and read it from there. Or if you have a laptop you can take it with you.

IDK I've never liked those electronic books anyway. What's the point in buying a book then? I love the smell of a new book and how how the book has that new feel to it. These ebooks just spoil all the fun.

i've read half of foreign literature we were to read as e-books. because it was quicker... not very comfortable, but you can choose what you like. in our country not many foreign authors are available in libraries...
