Should I buy and read 'Heroes of the Valley' by Jonathan Stroud?

I've never read 'heros of the valley' (even though the title sounds familiar) so I can't tell you what I think. However, I do know what it feels like to run out of things to read.
There have been times I bought a book and it wasn't all that good, but there have also been times I got a book I absolutely loved. So it depends on what you think, does the book sound interesting enough to buy.

One other thing. Other people's opinions may be important to some degree, but not everyone is the same. We all have different tastes.
Sorry if that sounds rude, I'm not meaning to be. I just think that when you're deciding to read a book you should trust your own judgement. No one knows you better than yourself, right.
