If they just met as kitten and puppy then problary but if they are older then no because of "their" territory

Oh my gosh! My cat is so stubborn, and when my dog met her, she scratched him right away! Now they live on opposite floors of my house. The cat on the top, dog on the bottom. Also, my dog is now afraid of her!
yep. i believe that. its happened before with my friend. she has a daschund and a cat (im not into specifics on cats) and they do perfectly fine. actually, her doggie's afraid of the kitty. but at least they don't fight or anything.
Yeah if they grow up together or are put together at younge ages. Older animals have a hard time ajusting to animals of the same species let alone a different one. Or maybe you can put older animals of different species together if you work with them. Idk....
yes, depending on how territorial they are and how used to the other species they are. My cat Simba would be great with a dog cuz he thinks he is one :P he plays fetch and eats just about anything. He loves cake, especially pastacio with coconut on top :P and even i dont like that haha
Of course they can, cats and dogs not being able to get along is a myth. My dog pepper loved cats so much that she played midwife every time we had a new litter of kittens (I had 19 cats at one timeO_O), she'd do nothing more but sit by that box and protect those kittens, and just growl at anybody who'd even come in the room, unless she liked that person. My casts would just cuddle up with her like the best of friends. I see it all the time:)
Of course! My dog thinks my two cats are squeeky chew toys. But for the most part he plays nice, they even seem to like him and go out of their way to be with him; ignoring the fact he likes to maul them a little bit.
Yes. In fact, while this woman who goes to my church who has a daughter that was giving me swimming lessons when I was little, well she had a dog and a cat living in the house.
