Cats Question

What age would you guys suggest to get a kitten at?

You see, I am being offered a kitten, but I can't take him for another few weeks, which by then he will be four months old.
Do you think I should get him?
Or do you think I should get a younger kitten (around two months).
I know it's not that big a deal, but are they still young and kitten like at the age of four months?
Please help :)
