No, you're not really a traitor. I began almost loving dogs as much as cats when my dog sat next to the body of my dear cat Ginger after he died. So Charlie (my dog) cared about my poor cat, dogs sometimes love cats! R.I.P Ginger!

The tale about 'cats and dogs being each other's worst enemies' is nonsense at best.

Some individual cats and dogs may fail to get along. It depends on the temprament (and upbringing) of the animal. But if cats are introduced to dogs (or vice versa) at a young age, they can become each other's best friends.
