Death Note Question

At the end of death note we see a group of hooded figures holding candles and a girl dressed in white who says: 'to kira, our savior'. who r those people? and whos the girl?

personally, i think the people were the ones killed by Kira and they were thanking kira for saving them from past crimes. and i thought the girl was Misa, but then i thought she might be 'hope'. idk

The girl isn't Misa. It says this in 'How To Read.' It's also pretty obvious that it isn't her. It looks nothing like Misa.
