I went into a depressed sort of shock and then cried a little. T~T I really loved L! He was so quirky and funny and interesting. At first my favorite was Light, but after a bit I saw he was becoming really cruel and I started to like L a bit more than him. I wonder what L was thinking when he saw Light smiling like that... Must've been horrible, since he considered Light a friend.

Well, if you remember, when they were in the rain, L toldt .Light that they will be parting soon. Perhaps L somehow understood/felt that he would die soon.
