	aceking100 picked Yes he would definitely be better: What made light really a bad person in my eyes is his obsession over being god and killing innocent people just because they got in his way. If he only did it to get rid of criminals he would be so much understandable and would make this anime more morally ambiguous as in this case neither L or Light would really be in the wrong. it would just be different viewpoints on how to deal with evil which adds a whole new layer of depth to the anime rather than light being just the bad guy and L the good guy. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago
