Knives, meat cleavers, all sorts of sharp and dangerous objects floated out of the ground and surrounded Charlie and Kaelin. It was as if they had adopted Grace's extraction abilities and...well yeah, it was quite clear what they were using them for.
Before anyone could react, Grace built a fort and teleported everyone in her team behind it. Having knives thrown at her from basically every point around her would only be harder if everyone got in the way.
Right, left, ducking, leaping, flipping, extracting, god, it was all a nightmare. Everything had turned into a complicated mess of flying, sharp sardines.
No jokes, it actually looked like fish shoals being hunted.
"KRISTA! NICK!" Grace shouted as she still tried to fight. "DON'T JUST STAND THERE, BE USEFUL!"
She didn't have to order them to do much.
There was the sound of a sword slashing against one of the knives. That sword's metal was much stronger, new and not as old. The knife having just made those slashing sounds was thrown to the ground, stabbing it and making a hole at Grace's feet.
It looked like it had seen better days.
"Good day, milady." came an unfamiliar voice. Grace extracted all the knifes and held them just behind her. She whipped her head with an annoyed expression on her face to where the new voice had come from.
Top hats.
Yes.
Just coz.
Nothing better to do.
"And you might be?" she asked, preparing herself for another attack.
"I'm Brett."
"Great."
"This is Mable."
A girl with a fedora appeared. Krista ran towards the one they called Mable screaming "ONEESAAAAAAAAAN!~"
"Great, now be useful." Grace ordered. Behind her, her claws snapped and clicked, her bones clacking against one another. The knifes chinked and formed a giant shitaki-mushroom storm around her.
Another attack started up.
Despite being completely maniacal, Charlie had kept his combat-promise. He wasn't turning his solidity off. Every now again, Grace would shoot a knife at him. She only had to flick her fingers at one and it would speed towards him like a bullet from a machine-gun.
Then he would teleport and Kaelin would grab the 'shot' knife. Grace could teleport objects from one place to another, but Kaelin was so much more powerful than she looked. Trying to retract a knife or sword from her was difficult and took time. In this fight, it was all about moving quickly.
Brett, Mable, Nick, Krista and Grace were all working the nuggets out of themselves to try and win then end the fight.
Too bad Charlie and Kaelin were thinking the same thing.
No one noticed the ghost floating behind the fort Grace had built for the pathetic Team KRUGE.
"STOP." he snapped, making every head turn towards him. Grace dropped her floating, extracted knives and let them clank to the ground uselessly. It was a weak hologram that could last about five minutes.
"What is it now, Transparence?" she snapped. Turning around, her eyes widened. Charlie had lifted Reddie up by the front of his shirt. He held an already bloodied knife to the boy's throat. Reddie was sweating, unable to do anything.
"Continue to try and win your pitiable way through this fight and the boy dies." he growled, digging the tip of the knife under Reddie's chin. The tiniest drop of blood seeped out.
"I forfeit." Grace said, abandoning her hologram. No one noticed the dagger under her coat. "Let him go, Transparence."
She walked towards Charlie, a blank expression her face. Reaching him, she placed one hand on her hip. "Give me the boy or I WILL be on your back for life."
Charlie smiled maniacally. He dropped Reddie back behind the fort.
"Good enough." Grace said, flipping a strand of hair out of her face in a fashionable way.
Then she destroyed her hologram behind her.
The dagger in her coat teleport into her hand.
She grabbed Charlie's throat.
The dagger was plunged into his stomach.
Mock blood spewed out everywhere.
"I know you think we're friends," Grace said, a strange and slightly insane smile on her face. "BUT WE'RE FUDGING NOT!"
With that, she twisted the dagger around a few times while it remained deep in Charlie's flesh as more blood spewed out.
"Ah, how gorgeous~" Grace laughed quietly into his ear, pulling the dagger out. "It's just a good thing it's mock blood, otherwise I'd be insane by now."
"Do you know the definition of insa-"
"BRETT!"
"Sorry, Mable."
Charlie smirked as Grace leant in closer to his neck while she continued to grip it tightly. "Oh, I do wonder what your insanity looks like!" he mused, removing her hand.
"Do you know the definition of insa-"
"BRETT, SHUT THE HELL UP!"
"I'M SORRY!"
Turning his solidity off, Charlie became somewhat transparent. "Well, guess I'll have to wait a while for that!" he laughed, his voice reaching a new level of certifiable. As a portal opened behind him, Kaelin picked up all the knives and joined him.
"Until then, we'll be watching yoooooouuuuuu!~" she sang. In a flash, they disappeared.

Hey everyone,
So, how's your day been going? (Tell me in comments! :D) I have nothing better to do, so I'm just going to ask you guys about your day/life/year/month/life/day/etc. How's school or work going? Anything interesting happen? Get a chance to steal any food from the local grocery store? Found anything interesting to do on the internet? Let me know in comments ;).
OK, I know this is ridiculous, buuuuuuuut...I made a club for the sequel series of Foreign Demon. Granted, yeah, I have no idea what I doing with this one yet, but I was BORED!!!! There's not much on there...but I'm working on stuff for it. If you'd like to check it out, here's the link: www.fanpop.com/clubs/demon-unleashed
I found out how you do proper digital art aswell, so something that is goodish is on there.
Anyways, if you've been having a terrible life so far, I hope it'll get better soon! Good times never last...neither do bad times, so hang in there. :)
