Jessica isn't cold though. Well usually people just asume her personality is like that just because of her nickname, " Ice Princess". But honestly on reality shows,she is one of the kindest members on it^^ im not sure if im the only one that notices it,but thats what i see:P but one things for sure,she is lazy lol.^^

can someone explain how Sooyoung and Tiffany have the best character to me? one is kinda hidden while the other is very out there.

Even though Tiffany can be arrogant at times, she seems pretty chill like a typical California girl.

Sooyoung's character is well-rounded but she never goes overboard in anything. She's confident, but not arrogant like Tiffany at times. She's really funny but not "too" funny like Hyoyeon. She has aegyo but refrains from overuse it like Sunny. At the same time, she seems humble and natural in talk shows. She's also the best story teller and public speaker. If you see more of their shows, Sooyoung is the bond that ties everyone in the group together. She just knows how to present herself very well without going overboard. (That's probably why you find her character hidden.)

^^ no offense but I won't argue wither she has the best character or not but whatever character she had I can't say i like it. I find her character or at least what is shown to be very wish washy, nothing really comes to mind when I think of Sooyoung she is not really consistent to me. I like that she did imitations earlier in their career but I guess SM thought it didn't fit her or something

Tiffany I can "slightly" see because people have wrote about her character in articles and how thoughtful she is but I don't see it full on shows or commercials. But for someone who is supposed to be wild, she is very controlled. This doesn't show she is very true to her character

Jessica has a good character because it is honest to who she is, she is very honest and straightforward about something wither it sounds good or not

Sunny to shows a strong and bright character not only through variety shows, saving a member on stage, but also the compliments people made about her character

One being true to her real character doesn't mean she has a GOOD character. Acting cold and rude when she really is cold and rude means she has a good personality? Oh right.

As someone mentioned here, Sooyoung is well-rounded so you can't have a consistent description for her personality. She can be cheerful, humorous, smiley, thoughtful, friendly, confident, strong, ... So many words can be used to describe SY's personality. I find how she appears on TV very sincere. And among them, I would want SY to be my friend the most even tho Yoona's my bias.

Jessica to have has a nice character because she is at least honest, when she likes it she will like it, if she doesn't she doesn't. She may be cold and straightforward but no can say she isn't an honest person about how she feels, which is more then I can say for other members.

My issue with Sooyoung as always is there is a lack of an individualism, or something that can separate her from the group. Yeah she may be cheerful, humorous, and all that but isn't that most of the group. You are simply describing as your said her personality, not her character, they are very different.

I can't say she has the best character or not because either A.) she doesn't a individual aspect of her character that I think is special (someone feel free to correct me with a reasonable attribute) or B.) No one mentions anything about her character, they say she is pretty and tall but nothing about who she is as a person

tiagih, those who like Sooyoung's character including me usually like how well-rounded she is. So yeah she has many things. You might think she's lack of individualism but I find her character to be perfect, and represent the whole group. And once again, that's why she's the bond the connects SNSD together.
