Seriously, Yoona might be pretty but she isn't a good dancer... but i think that Soo Young is much better than her. but she can't overcome Hyo Yeon, of course.

This is a really hard question because both of them have thier strengths and weakness. Lets look at the most recent performance of IGAB and analyze.

Sooyoung- Disclaimer I don't think Sooyoung was on her a game but its the most recent performance we have as of now. In the link Sooyoung doesn't really have good control over her body by comparison, she isn't nearly as loose as Yoona, and her movements are kinda sloppy (i am referencing foot placement). Watching Sooyoung's performance: her main problems were stiffness, lack of stamina, and body control

Yoona- Yoona is gradually improving as a dancer and it is best shown here. Yoona did ok here, it was good in respects to some improvement of her body control however there were still some flaws that I think hendered her. For starters she has a problem in doing too much too fast which will lead a messy transition or worse use up your stamina. If you a dancer its important to know how much power you should be in each movements but also conscious of making sure you don't use more power than you can control and also be able to keep it consistent till the end of the performance. Yoona had some moments where she didn't have enough control over her movements and made a messy transition to the next step. Another flaw she has is that she will be burnt out by the end of the performance. However in this performance she had better control of her body which resulted in being able to stay more consistent to the end of the performance. Yoona had decent stamina.

Now in this performance I would give it to Yoona because she was more consistent in her movements and her movements were cleaner, but like I said I don't think this was Sooyoung's day so for now.

Overall though Sooyoung is considered the better dancer technically because she is better able to dance freestyle and has more power in her dance moves, however Yoona shows signs of becoming more consistent and been control over her dance moves. So they really are tied

Soo is generally better. Yoona might be slightly better in hip hop (IGAB) but overall Sooyoung is a clearly better PERFORMER.

Here are a few examples:
Gee: Yoona - it's also hard to compare as Sooyoung appeared more like a back-up dancer
Genie: I would call it a tie but Sooyoung does look slightly better as the 2nd chorus (her being the center) has nicer looking moves.
Hoot: Sooyoung
The Boys: Sooyoung
Mr Taxi: Sooyoung (or maybe a tie but Sooyoung suits the sexy concept better)
IGAB: Yoona
Flower Power: Sooyoung
Bad Girl: Sooyoung

^^now that isn't fair PA92. You don't know her schedule given the fact she makes the most money means she works a good days job probably more than the others since she is always in photoshoots, commericials, and etc. They all have busy schedules, so don't make excuses, plus I already said Sooyoung may have an off day but I was also looking at Yoona's dancing to see if she improved which she did in some ways. I didn't vote because thier most recent performance I don't think Sooyoung was at her best, but that doesn't change the fact that Yoona is improving and Sooyoung while sometimes she may be tired but is also sloppy (lately) and stiff, she doesn't have good foot placement most of the time.

End of the day as of now they are tied, Jessica performs way better than what she does now, but we judge her current performances not what she used to do. If Sooyoung doesn't way up she will fall behind.

tiagih, i'm not being unfair at all...Sooyoung is having the most work this year, by far...drama, photoshoots(she's the member with the most photoshoots this year, so far), events, fansigns, performances, concerts....she's tired as hell...

Yoona is basically showing up in some events and that's it....it says in their schedule list...i'm not making this up..she only had like 2 photoshoots this year and she isn't doing much....many sones are saying this =S

Sooyoung is better.

^the year isn't over yet so don't make assumptions trust me that Jessica or Tiffany will have the most photoshoots this year. All of them are tired as hell its called being an idol, just because you don't see behind the scene doesn't mean they aren't working. Yoona even though Sooyoung had profitable year in 2012 still made more money than her, why do you think that is? Name me one month this year so far that Yoona wasn't working or had to attend an event on something?


You are making excuses because Sooyoung drama has been over as well as her shooting time, there haven't been any concerts since July, the most she does is a photoshoot which if any that are out now were shoot at least a month or 3 weeks in advance.....so again stop making excuses. Accept the fact that she wasn't on her game and not make excuses that she was tired because the way she was dancing isn't someone who is tired, its someone who isn't putting in much effort. You can tell because she get more sluggish toward the end of the performance. Don't get me wrong Sooyoung dances really well but the issue is that she isn't improving the same as Yoona but maybe will have to see Sept 14 when they go back to touring.
