Why do you think season 2 was pretty bad?

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.

The storylines were too messed up I guess.
Here and there, everywhere! You blinked and suddently a new, completely out of nowhere storyline which didn't even complete the previous one, was brought out. And then that ended after like 2 episodes. Idk, it felt like they rushed everything -- it became TOO MUCH.

The characters were so OOC as well. Especially Blair. From going to being "the crazy bitch around here" to having her whole life torn apart. From wanting sex to be special to having meaningless sex. Even her schemes tended to fail.

They did so many failed storylines too. One's which made you think: "What are they thinking?"

IDK. It just didn't have that nice flow from season 1. :/

I did like it, but when looking at the season as a whole, it wasn't that good.

what?..season 2 was amazing...much better than season 1!

Where do I start?
The characters in Season One were very developed and layered, in Season Two they seemed a lot more shallow and there were a lot of times they seemed OOC based on how their character had initially been developed to be.

The storylines were generally awful, each one designed to have an 'OMFG' factor, the result being none of them had it. Story arcs were no longer than two episodes which made it hard to be interested in the show and get as involved as I did in Season One. There were too many guest stars around for such brief periods which made relationships on the show feel meaningless. Overall it became very predictable and even dull.

The overall feel of the show in Season Two was a lot more shallow and comedic, which made it less and involving and the characters less interesting.

Oh, and then there was Chuck and Blair, The couple of the show, essentially. Instead of having scenes between them that developed their relationship, they had them play a twenty five episode long on and off game with each other. The game was fun in 2x08, they did develop somewhat in 2x13 & 2x25... but over the entirety of the season, they were messed about and played with so much that their coming together finally was wasted on me a little because I knew it had to happen and had been waiting for it and just wanted it over with.

Basically, Season Two was awful in my opinion because I expected so much after Season One, and was given so little. The show became messy, inconsistent, out of character and slightly shallow. Yet, I can't stop watching because I commited myself when I fell totally in love with Season One. So I'm still excited about Season Three, mostly because I'm hoping it will be better than Season Two.

YEAH A LITTLE BIT SEASON 1 WAS AMAZING EVERYTHING YOU COULD LOOK FOR IN A SHOW. SEASON 2 WAS A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT THERE WAS NO THRILL IN IT. <THAT'S WHAT I THINK> I ONLY WISH SEASON 3 IS GONNA BE BETTER THAN SEASON 2.

OK, so I'm not one for long answers (unless I start rambling) but at first I thought season 2 was great. However, now that I think about it, it wasn't all that great. Season 1 had more drama and intruige. Season 2 had a little too much twists and turns and there were some epsiodes that weren't so great (probably because they had no CB action in them xP). I'm not saying Season 2 was bad exactly, it just lacked a little here and there. Season 1 wasn't completely perfect either...ahh, I'm just looking forward to season 3.
