They are about to totally different sides of the United States. I don't know how they can even compare next to each other. Maybe next time relate it to Sex and the City. That's actually filmed in the same city.

Serena totally reminds me of Marissa and Blair totally reminds me of Summer. The thing is Summer and Marissa are ten times hotter that the Gossip Girls so it's a bit of a shame they didn't take hotter actreses.

Marisa isn't like serena and summer isn't like blair....its some of the storyline....not necessarily in the same state or anything....but centered around some of the same problems. I think they are really pretty as well!

Rich spoiled teenagers,drugs,alchohol,parents who can't control their kids...the core of the shows,the main idea is the same!Of course there are differences which is what makes each show special!

dude the oc and gossip girl are so similair. like in this episode bart did a background check on lilly. remember how caleb did that to julie? and then in gg when some guy hit his head in the pool, it is the same as in the ocs episode "the rager" when that gurl was floating in the pool.

Gossip Girl and The OC are similar because GG is a teen drama locate in the upper east side and The OC was a teen drama locate in Orange Country.The only difference are the story lines, dramas, and character are different.
