I kind of think that she was beginning to change, but then she felt jealousy stir when she found out Chuck came with Blair, not alone to see her (because Georgie is jealous of Blair, she's Serena's BFF and Chuck's... boyfriend?... which is what G wanted to be)... and jealousy is a POWERFUL emotion. So, as of next episode she will probably go back to her eviiiil ways, but I think in 2x22 she really was a changed person. Hence the instant change of emotion when Blair was mentioned.
