they weren't horrible, but they definitely were NOT needed. There should have been more amazingly cute Chuck!!!

I'm with TmoVie_obsessed that there should've been more of Chuck being the sweetest man alive, but I was still pleasantly surprised by the flashbacks. I was NOT looking forward to them at all but they were much better than I expected at least

Some of them were okay, but there were way too many, & some of them were completely pointless to the plot. Like when Lily was looking through Carol' locker & trying on all her clothes... WHAT DID THEY HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING? I thought a lot of the flashback scenes were like that.

I liked the flashbacks at the start. About half way through I got a bit sick of them but towards the end I liked them again. So overall they were better than I expected. I also agree with the first 2 comments though - more of super sweet Chuck would have been awesome! lol. :)

I surprised myself by really enjoying the flashbacks, was hoping for a bit more development of the Poppy/Georgina/Stolen money plot though.

Plus,there was Ryan Hansen(who cannot be not awesome!) and Krysten Ritter and Kristen Bell's voice over...my little Veronica Mars reunion!

The flashbacks were ok but I really didn't care about them. I was looking forward to their prom.
I would have prefered more Chuck being sweet moments and Georgina showing up at prom. I really liked the scene of Blair and Serena on the steps and I was getting frustrated when they cut it off by going into a flashback. It would have been nice to see Blair's face when Serena told her what Chuck did. But they didn't have time for that...way too many flashbacks.

Flashbacks were better than I expected, but yeah it's not like they were needed. I don't care about Lily's character in the first place. Also I'm glad they cancelled the show--from the look of the clips that we got, I think it worked much better as flashbacks and if they had made a whole tv show out of it it would have been very mediocre

sure they were interesting at points, i have many questions from them.. but all in all they are pointless if the spin off gets cancelled. i wish they would have just had their own pilot, because the prom episode was too rushed, the present scenes were short and each time it cut back to the past, more like we were watching the past with glimses at the future.
