I borrowed the first book from a friend to read it, didn't like it that much and I don't plan or reading more. I'm not even sure if I finished reading the first one at all, lol.

i read like 2 and they were terrible! the show isnt anything like the books! they are completley different! the only thing in common are the characters names lol. the show is 100 times better then the books and thats really rare to see cuz usually when they adapt books into movies or show theyre never as good.

I have read some of the books, but honestly they books really suck compared to the show. And like 99.99% the books are better, but I guess Gossip Girl is the 00.01% that's the exception. lol

i enjoy both, but in my mind they are definately two different things, although i must admit i love chuck and blair in the show and hate vanessa in the show but love her in the books
