Then she wouldn't stay out of his club opening when he asked her to and asked JACK, of all people, to help, almost ruining everything for Chuck. My point is he forgave her, and MORE IMPORTANTLY she forgave him for "turning her down". That really wasn't supposed to be a big deal, it was meant to be comedic.
