even though she's mean, she's very misunderstood. i mean, so many people expect so much of her, and everytime she has a dream, or she really wants something, it gets crushed, or snatched (accidentally of course) by serena, her BEST FRIEND, so she obviously has reason to be such a bitch. she just likes to feel in control so that she doesn't feel so bad when she loses what she really wants, and she acts like nothing bothers her so she doesn't show weakness and lose everything. and that is why i love blair. =] (but that's just in the books, in the show they never show that side of her)
