Serena was my favorite during the whole first season :)

To be honest no one really.

That's a problem I had with the show at first. I still would watch it but I didn't instantly have anyone I really cared about.

If I did have one it would be Serena or Dan.
I thought Nate was a complete bore fest and that didn't change until just recently.
Blair was just whatever for me.
I could not stand Jenny.
And I HATED Chuck! My, how things have changed. ;)

I didn't start to get really invested in the characters until about 1x10 - 1x13.

Him/Blair & Chuck.
But I was most interested in Dan. Cause I was missing my Seth Cohen, and he was a lovely substitute :)

While I HATED Serena/Jenny
And then I just thought Nate was pretty :)

and dan.

I loved Dan and I liked Blair, Serena & Chuck.
I was indifferent to Jenny and pretty indifferent to Nate though I wanted him to have lots of screentime because he's so beautiful!

Serena, then Dan, then Chuck, Blair. Serena was my favorite instantly, until about 1x03 when Chuck became my favorite. She's still my 2nd favorite cause' I really like her alot. Didn't really like Blair that much, or Chuck, but after a few scenes I DID love Chuck. <3

I honestly barely remember what my thoughts were. I watched 1.01 to 1.11 in less than a week because it was winter break, and my sister told me about this show that she loved, Gossip Girl, that I should watch. I watched the pilot and was instantly hooked, so I watched all of the episodes that had aired in a few days. Then I watched School Lies at the normal time on the TV.
So it's all a blur to me. But I remember liking Serena a lot in the pilot. Later, my favorite changed to Blair, and then in the end of season 1/beginning of season 2, Chuck and Blair were tied for favorite. Then later in season 2, Chuck became my absolute favorite.

As well as Dan and Blair.

I loved serena at first but around episode 3 or 4, i started to really like blair. Therefore she is now my fave characater.

At first I liked only her. Then Chuck also became my fave character. And I still adore both of them

I looved dan! He was my favourite until episode 7, then chuck and blair were.

Love Blair since the pilot, but then Chuck became my favourite character!Blair is still a close second :)

I honestely don't remember but all I know that Blair has become my favourite since season 1 and maybe from the first episode..and I loved Serena and Dan too..

She was mean, and it was fun to watch. I almost always like bitches in every show I watch, Idk, I can't help myself haha. I really liked Serena too, but I was more interested in Blair.

Tbh, I wasn't that sure than. I always need to watch couple of episodes to decide who I like the most.

Idk. Serena was like the mysteriouse one whose past youd didn't know about and you just wanted to know. But now things have definetly changed.

TBH I actually went to the forums before the show came out and people were describing Blair and Serena from the books and I just fell in love with Blair's character. So I was already geared towards her before the show's pilot.

Blair and Dan. And then I watched out for Nate because he was hot. (:

First GG character i ever liked.

Season 1 was the only season in which I liked Serena.
