Chuck Bass and Serena Van der Woodsen were found murdered in cold blood in the Palace suite 1812. Chuck's girlfriend and Serena's best friend Blair Waldorf walked in on them doing the deed. Carter seeing this happen manages to call Serena who helps him kill Dan when she finds out he murdered her brothers (The cup is really a part of the family now).
