I think they did a lot on Dan; we know a lot about his past and history. They explored Chuck and Blair a lot, too, but they kind of put things in we know, but didn't go into depth. The other characters like Serena or Nate we don't really know very well past-wise.

I think the trick to this question is the difference between what the writers *attempted* or what they think they did and what was actually portrayed on screen, what the audience got from it. Personally, I'm 50/50 on Chuck and Blair.

For sure. I would say Blair but I think she's hit a stalling point this season.

We don't get near enough Serena or Nate development IMO.

um, those two things were both explored during the first 8 episodes. I agree that her character's been developed but those aren't really the best examples.

as much as i hate her she could not be more different to how she was in season 1!, trust me i loved her in season one and now i hate her even more than Vanessa!

definetley. jenny developed too but not in a good way. blair and dan as well but not in a really huge signigicant way.
