I don't think random bar sex is love. Do I think they connected before yes, do I think they were in love no. Serena didn't know what it meant to love until Dan. As for Nate, Nate cycles through girls like most people change underwear, Serena was a flavor he hadn't fully gotten to try out. I can't see him putting up a fight after everything, where as Dan hasn't been wrong recently so he has a reason to fight. and second has anyone read the books or at least paid attention to the show, NATE IS SERENA´S FIRST LOVE, please inform yourselves before talking. I'm not denying Serenate have a connection, but they just don't work and were never IN love. They had sex which made both of them feel crazy guilty for a long time, and then oddball scenes for a few seasons, then the whole Stripp stuff which, I kind of liked NS then, but then in.. what was it, 3x13 or something Nate says "I've waited a really long time for this" and it's sweet and honest, and she replies "ME TOO". BULLSHIT. She didn't even pay ANY mind to him romantically until a few hours previously saying that. Again not bashing them being first loves but that deffo does not qualify.
