Let's be realistic? Blake CAN act or she wouldn't be getting the recognition she's getting now. She is being called 'the standout' in The Town, a movie full of Oscar winners, and Leighton's sharing screentime with Selena Gomez. That's the reality.

Leighton for sure, I don't see anything 'special' about Ed's acting, I would even go as far as saying Penn is probably the best male actor on GG.


And to be fair I haven't heard Blake getting a lot of recognition for her ACTING and who is Ed Westwick sharing screentime with...no one.

I think you're missing the point here. I'm not pointing to Blake 'sharing the screen' with Oscar winners, anyone can do that, I'm pointing to the fact that she's being called out among them. Do you understand that?

I'm not saying anyone's bad but it bothers me when people act like the general consensus needs to be Leighton PWNS, Blake sucks. Not everyone thinks that.

I completely agree, I myself hate it when people say something nice about one person and then talk crap about the other, with any of the actors/characters.
I just don't like it when people can't write a comment without saying something bad about another actor/character even though I understand why you said that about Leighton, that person wasn't exactly being nice about Blake's acting abilities which I think are GREAT btw.

Blake, Chace and Jessica are not very talented IMO. I often cringe at their emotional scenes and how they act them. :/

OH PLEASE, like you care about what recognition an actor can get???? you just care about what your eyes tell you..that's it..Wentworth miller got an nomination in Emmy awards for his role and you still can't believe that just because you don't see him as a good actor!!!! and it is the same for Blake !! I can say she dosn't deserve the role in Town or whatever just because I do believe that

oh BTW I didn't know Blake was in the town, because I remember going to the cinema and the town was one of the options but too bad I didn't enter the movie. If I knew blake was in that movie,I for sure would watch it..!

All of them are pretty good, but I think Penn is the best, Blake and Leighton are great too.
I'm a bit conflicted about Ed's acting, because I loved his acting in season one and two, but I think it has been a bit over the top since then, (also what's with the whispering?).
I like Taylor's (why isn't she mentioned?) and Jessica's acting too, but I haven't seen them in anything other than gossip girl.
Last week I went to see Twelve and was suprised at how good Chace's acting was in it. =)

Actually in some respects, I do. I don't see why people can't take Blake seriously just because her character is less emotional then Leigton's? Or is it something I'm missing? I think she's pretty great, and Leight is just good. That's my opinion. Yeah I respect yours too, but let's be realistic, it's to each their own to have an opinion on emotional scenes. ^ Ditto. One I the reasons I really like Blake is I find her talented and good at choosing roles. I've seen her in multiple dramatic movies that were really amazing and that's one of the reasons I respect her. As for Leighton, you know, she's just had cameo's in Date Night and Going the Distance which is cool but now that she has exposure she picks a role with Selena Gomez and a cheesy cliche horror movie called The ROOMATE? Yeah okay. Just saying.

It entertains me that we are fighting over something that is based on opinion. Saying who has been in what movies doesn't really do much. Guys, everyone has different opinions, deal with it. It doesn't mean we should fight to the death on who is better at acting when this is completely based on OPINION.

For instance, I don't find Ed as ohmygod amazing as everyone else seems to. Sure, he OWNS the emotional scenes, but general he doesn't do much for me, IDK, too much whipsering and the ridiculous hand gestures get to me. Does that mean I am wrong? No. It just means I have a different opinion. And if I am trying to argue that Ed isn't good (which he is IMO) doesn't mean I have to say "Oh yeah, he hasn't been in these movies with Oscar people, therefore this person is better"

There is no right or wrong, deal with it.

Now back to actors, Taylor, Penn and Leighton are BY FAR the best IMO.
