Well, it's not all about endgame, but to me it's a very important factor. I don't want to watch something and then not have my favorite couple end up together.

I guess I just don't get the exitement over something we won't actually get to see?

How come? I noticed that their scenes/ friendship development was unusually careful/slow for Gossip Girl, but what makes you think it's abou them?

It's kind of controversial question!And of course it doesn't make anyone happy their favourite pairing to get together in the last episode and be the "endgame"!But If they give you a decent story it's the enedgame we all think as the "winner" whan the show ends!

I don't, and I actually think there is nothing worst for a show than to have "endgames/meant to be/whatever romantic shit" because then the characters are pretty much forgotten.
Plus, we all know the serie will end after season 5 or maybe 6, so they will all be in their mid-twenties. So yeah, there will be endgames couples with epic reunions and weddings and stuff, but it doesn't mean they wouldn't have horrible brak up/divorce/death after that.
So, yeah, whatever.

i wanna have my favorite couple end up together even though i didn't have the greatest luck *cough*brucas*cough with it. For the moment i wanna enjoy the joruney but in the end endgame means that the couple lives happily ever after and that's what we ALL want for our OTP

im more into the journey rather than the destination. i think that if a couple is terrible together but ends up together in the end, its not near as meaningful as a couple who were engaging and entertaining while together but didnt end up together. but then again, it would be nice to have the couples i like get a happy ending, a legit closure.

I think we'll get one or two more seasons, depending on the ratings. Most of the cast doesn't seem to eager to renew their contracts.
At least that's what I get from their interviews, it looks like Blake, Chace, Penn, Jessica and Ed are pretty much done with the show...

If my favourite couple dont end up togather I would feel like I watched the show for nothing :S

I like couples every now and then. But I watch the show mainly for the stories and my two favorite characters Blair and Serena.

I like qhen couples I like end up together, of course. But I think the most important thing is getting to enjoy good scenes in many episodes, and get to actually see them together.

i care about good scenes now, but i'm intrigued to see how it will all end. I'd be disappointed actually if Serena ends up with Dan or Nate in the end. Chuck & Blair seem inevitable, but somethings don't work out like that .. life doesn't work out like that, especially life on the UES. So, I'm hoping for some unusual (but satisfying) stuff at the end of the series. Otherwise I'd feel just half my time watching the show was wasted.
