I don't hate her. I just don't think that the GG writers ever really let her character develop, because they're so focused on Blair. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think she's a little boring.

Well before I start, I really don't mean to offend any Serena fans! And I'm really not looking to fight with anyone..so please don't start anything!

But I personally just find her to be very selfish. She only looks out for herself. She has all these guys look out for her and fight for her and she screws each and every single one of them over.Thats one of the reasons I could never properly ship Serenate or Derena. Both those guys fight for her and do every thing for her but she treats them both like crap:/ I also hate that she never admits her faults. Yes, Jenny and Blair have both done crappy things, but atleast the admit it! And the thing that gets to me the most is that she can never seem to fight her own battles! She always has some one else do it for her and thats just always bugged me. Plus I think she's the most shallow GG character:/ They never seem to get deep with her.

And she has treated Nate and Dan like crap, so yeah..

@mooshka This is true, especially the part about how she tends to treat guys like dirt. It made me soooo mad how Colin quit his job to be with Serena, and she's all "Yeah, I basically just used you to help me forget how awful my life was at the time, but now you've served your purpose. And don't you worry about me! I've got both Nate and Dan interested, so I'm good to go. Hope you find another job real soon!". I actually agree with most of your comment, except for the part about Jenny owning up to her mistakes. The one thing I hate about Jenny the most is that she continuously blames Serena, Blair, Chuck, and Nate for how she turned out. Well, she pretty much blames the UES in general. Like how when she was talking with Juliet on Skype, and Juliet said "you must think I'm crazy", and Jenny responded with "if you are, I'm sure they made you that way". And don't even get me started with how angry I am that Jenny let Dan believe that Chuck took advantage of her when they had sex. It was completely consensual, yet Jenny walked away from the situation playing the victim. But, like you said, it was your opinion. I'm not trying to start a fight or anything. And I agree with what you said about Serena.

well first let me say I dont really hate her hate is such a strong word I just dont like her ,shes always thinking shes so much better than everyone easle that bugs me ,she never thinks of anyone but herself so true! but again I just dont like the character i dont hate her!

I think that the main reason why I hate Serena so much is because she reminds me of Marissa Cooper (The O.C.), whom I couldn't stand. Like Marissa, Serena never seems to learn from her mistakes. And like Mischa Barton, I think that Blake Lively's a horrible actress. Also, I can't take any of Serena's relationships seriously because it feels like she's only in them for sex.

I don't hate her but I do think she another dumb blond beauty character, that just want everyone attention, she should be grown after 4 season but she still shallow, I don't know who to blame for this,, the series writer?the book writer?or blake?

Every gossip girl character comes with their own flaws. I just think that the fandom tend to be harsher to Serena when she makes a mistake.

I don't hate her I just dislike her in season 4. She got annoying
