I mean she's complaining about being in GG a lot in the beginning of 5x19 and in the end of episode she lets down her real cousin and starts to be "it girl" again :/

Serena was complaining to Lola saying she can't believe she was using her to help Nate with that scheme and the whole time Serena herself was using Lola to keep herself off Gossip Girl's radar. Lol, Serena stfu.

I have never understood why Serena does half the things she does:/
But for this episode espeacially, like wtf? She talks about how much being an "It Girl" sucks and how it's constantly messing with her life, yet she's willing to make her cousin the "It Girl" knowing how much it sucks and knowing how much Lola wants to avoid the upper east side. And then she has the nerve to get upset about Lola using her when Serena was using Lola the entire time. It's like every episode she becomes more and more immature.

Serena is a hypocritic selfish bitch.

But Serena was cheating her from the beginning. "I want to get to know you" - 5x16, "Get out from UES or I'll continue writing ugly things about you on GG" - 5x20
