Grey's Anatomy Question

Are Izzy and George dead or are they both in a coma. The last time I saw them they were using an elevator.

Living in Germany has its drawbacks, not only is the text in German but we are several (?) episodes behind.
Izzy must live on and so must George.

Thanks everybody, I guessed as much. We will all miss George. When the series starts again in Germany their will be tears, lots of tears. Thomas Sharkey
