​One Direction\'s Made in the A.M. album\'s just been certified platinum in the UK already, proving that even doing nothing at all can be productive. It\'s a VICTORY FOR ALL.

Harry, Niall, Louis and Liam Payne might now officially be on the bloody h-word and taking some time out from 1D, but that hasn\'t stopped their latest album shifting over 300,000 in the UK in a matter of weeks. Who says so? The British Phonographic Industry, which doesn\'t sound like a name you wanna be messing with. They sound clever af.

Adele sort of won 2015 with her 25 album tbh (that\'s gone 8x platinum meaning it\'s sold 8x 300,000 copies - maths we\'re just not willing to do on the first day back in the office), but 1D did pretty bloody well for themselves by selling 300,000 alongside the Little Mix ladies. Not a bad start to 2016, eh?

Now, because we\'re still in that whole giving presents mode post-Christmas, we thought we\'d present the lads with a little plaque thing via the internet to show \'em just how proud we are. In return we\'d like another single just for the sake of it. Or the \'History\' video ASAP. We don\'t ask a lot.
