.....Some people actually uses that 30%?
Eh, fair enough.
I'm not sure about the brain usage thing, but I found this interesting:
link
" our brains are always active up to 45%"
link
"Brain scans have shown that no matter what we're doing, our brains are always active."
So, it seems that 100% of our brain is usually active all the time. I'm guessing sleeping, brain damage, etc. might shut off parts of the brain. I don't ever recall ever thinking about percentages like that :/
I don't know if the 30% part about consciousness is true. So, I'll look into that as well and see if it disproves your information, or support it.
First, the definition of consciousness: "Consciousness is the quality or state of being aware of an external object or something within oneself". I found this really weird article:

Hmm....I'm not sure. It seems that the brain isn't exactly essential for consciousness. Not sure how that works out, but your 30% thing might be false.
This seems to say that consciousness occupies space but isn't part of the brain:

....Anyways, I'm too tired to read more so I'll just stick with this answer lol. It seems that your statement isn't completely true, or perhaps these sources aren't true.
