Random Question

How does one "relax"?

My therapist issued it as homework. Google didnt provide sufficient help and I accidentally ended up writing an email to my college's hatchery asking to get involved.

Honest to god no joke XD

I need help learning how to relax.

Let me tell you what I do. I admit that it's not always effective, but it works for me most of the time. I disconnect from everything..... For example, Internet, social media, TV.... Even reading books. I absolutely do nothing. Remove the sense of time temporarily. I go to quiet place in the nature or park or a lake. Sit there quietly doing nothing. Focus on all the fresh air and the peace of isolation . Stay there for an hour or so. That's it.

Relaxing is clearing your mind. Focus on something calm and peaceful, focus on one thing. The best way to do it is being able to do it anywhere, even if you were in a middle of a battlefield. No need to rely on external sources, just yourself.
