Hi guys, my name is Dee and I come from sunny Malaysia. I have been reading a lot of Romania and I'm dying to go there, I know that Romania is famous for vampires and famous gymnasts like Nadia Comaneci, whom I idolised.
Bucharest
While looking at the capital city, Bucharest eerily reminds me of Budapest, Hungary. Mainly due to the same historical building architecture, in fact it will be one of my favourite cities tied with Budapest followed by Prague, Czech Republic.
Brasov
Yes, the city is the home of Bran Castle, famously known as Dracula's castle because Dracula was based on Vlad the Impaler, who was a prince of Transylvania and a sadistic serial killer who would dine with his impaled victims. To make matters worse, he ate his bread served with a bowl of blood and even dipping it! On the bright side, his head was decapitated and the legends live on as his body is not found.
His castle still stands today attracting tourism today!
Onesti
The birthplace of legendary Nadia Comeneci, the Romanian gymnast who scored a perfect 10 at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. Coincidentally, this year is the 40th anniversary.
Friendly Faces
As many thought, Romanian are known for their friendly faces and I will be very grateful to see them lending us a helping hand towards their tourists!
See you Soon Romania!
Here are my 4 reasons why I love to see Romania, what about you?
