I have a question about Shugo Chara Party.

Well for the first 7 episodes of it. I watched the entire thing, but after that I pretty much got tired of the beginning parts where it shows the Japanese girls dressing up as the Shugo Chara's and the Shugo Chara Pucchi Puchi thing. So I skipped all of it and went straight to the part where the real Anime starts. Should I had really just watched all of those other parts? I mean did I really miss anything special out of skipping those all of those parts or was that okay to do? Because I really just wanted to get right to the real Anime. I feel like those other parts were just a waste of my time. So what do you all think?
