Spyro The Dragon Question

Did it all end with "Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon"?

So I finished Dawn of the Dragon for DS and at the end of it the world sort of exploded and Spyro and Cynder were blasted off into oblivian. I know they didn't die because of the last scene between Ignitus and that other dragon but after that they never made another game. Was that the complete and utter end of Spyro the dragon? D:

Yes. Yes it does. Don't EVER listen to those haters who say Spyro "died" with Skylanders.
