besides the fact that he was born and he died there, he just was an awesome guy who raised conservation awareness, and the fact he almost died several times, but altogether just a great guy who cared about the worlds fragile ecosystem.

i think it is his down-to-earth personality, great sense of humour and his attitude of giving everything a go!!!
