The Big Bang Theory Question

Has the big bang theory jumped the shark??

'The Big Bang Theory": "I loved the show when it started. Season 2 was even better than the first. Season 3 started so well and then went downhill… rather fast. To say that Leonard and Penny have zero chemistry would be a lie because it's so much worse. Let it go, writers; don't try to bring them back together. Please."

I wouldn't say it "Jumped the shark" per say but I do think the show has lost it's way abit since the begining. It happens to most shows around this time. I agree the first 2 season we're amazing and that Season 3 had it's moments but wasn't as good as the first two.

I think the show needs to get back to centering around the main 5 characters more, some of the best episodes had no guest stars. I'd like to see them get back to how it all started 4 geeky guys trying to expand there world abit with the help of their neighbor. I know the characters have to grow obviously but sometimes the guys just seem to "normal" now.

I still love the show and all but I miss the old episodes.

For me personally, the show jumped the shark after season 1 ended.

I loved every episode in season 1. While most of the episodes in season's 2 and 3 were great, there still were still a significant number of bad ones. Season 4 seems to be following the same pattern as season's 2 and 3.

Additionally, I really think that the writers should get rid of Amy Farrah Fowler. We all love Sheldon but do we really need both a male and female version of him?

the problem is not Amy, it's Sheldon. His schtick is getting old. Now it's just annoying. and especially the fact that they never stand up to him. He always wins
