Susan eventually doesn't believe in Narnia anymore, so that doesn't make me like her very much. If I had only seen The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe without reading all of the books, I'd problably have pick Edmound. He's nice in the rest of the books though.

Lunatic picked Susan:
This is really hard, but it needs to be said.

Although Susan didn't believe anymore, it wasn't Susan choosing not to believe, it was C. S. Lewis and the fact that he was a Sexist. He was trying to show that woman are inferior by saying that Susan was trying to be mature, in even when by being mature she was in fact being quite immature since we all know she was wrong.

So when I say that Susan is my least favourite character, I don't mean I dislike Susan, but rather I dislike Clive Staples Lewis' view of woman.

(Gosh I hope someone reads this other than myself.)

chels05, Edmund was always my favorite too!

And Lunatic, I must beg to differ. In fact, given the time period he was writing in, I think that C.S. Lewis had a very positive portrayal of women. Jill, Lucy, Aravis, and Polly to name a few. I think Lucy was probably the character shown in the best light. Just because Susan eventually disowned Narnia does not mean he was sexist.

I will always love Susan, she is great in first 2 books and in movies.... I hate the last book and How C.S.Lewis ruined her character...Guys,sorry but you are wrong.Look:She came to Narnia, she had adventures with her brothers and sister and then Aslan said to her that she will never enter Narnia again. What she could do?I think that she forgot about Narnia becouse was painful to her to remember about samo things which she can not have anymore...that is my opinion....so Lewis was wrong...I love Pevensie children so much together...And in last book he says that all family died in train crash exept Susan. So now she is alone...Does anybody deserve to lost everything even that person did something wrong??

I cannot pick which one I like the least. They are all important and contribute to the whole of the book. Yes, Susan DID stop believing in Narnia, but its not because she is a bad person. She made a mistake; she lost faith. Yes, Edmund was cruel to his siblings in LWW. He learned from it, however, and becomes an all-together better person. Yes, Eustace was a brat, but -just like his cousin Edmund- Narnia changed him for the better. Yes, Peter and Lucy seem like perfect little angels, which annoys people as well. But, I must say, every character has their faults and every character helps teach a lesson to the kids who read the books and watch the movies. Every character has taught me something important that has made me a better person.

Susan, aswell as the fact she disbelieves, but she is so prim and proper...

"Grown Up? Grown up indeed, I wish she would grow up!" -Lady Polly.

About this sexist stuff...well Lucy was always shown in the best light...she always was right, which would annoy me but Lucy is so sweet, it's impossible for me to hate her.

Edmund is awsome. I admit he was mean in LWW but I swear he is great later on.

I don't care about Peter much...he's ok I guess

Eustace is nice in The Silver Chair and The Last Battle so I din't choose him. :)

MegGraysonYJ picked Peter:
I don't really hate any of the characters.
For people who hate Edmund and Eustance, Narnia is about redemption and growing into a better person and that's what they did. Plus you can't really hate a character if you've only seen the movies, reading the book is how you grow WITH the characters. We also know the only reason Edmund acted up was because of jealousy and the fact that his dad had gone to war and he felt abandoned and looked over. Eustace was just raised by twats...

You say you hate Susan because she stopped believing? A lot of people lose faith if they believe they've been abandoned, which is probably how she felt after she returned from Narnia. Whist she was in America, she changed into a mature lady who, whilst she may never have fully believed it, thought Narnia was just a game.

Lucy is so cute. The reason a lot of it revolves around her is because she has a closer connection to Aslan because she believes stronger than the others. Her faith nd bravery is unwavering, and that's why. She's called Valiant for a reason ya'know.

Peter just looks out for his family, mostly. I agree that he looks over Edmund and Susan, but he still loves them and if they were in danger he would protect them. Even though he's my least favourite, I still like him :)

...

So, yeah! ...

Lucy or Susan. I love the rest, but I relate the most to Edmund.

EDIT: C.S. Lewis was not a sexist. If it had been Peter or Edmund who stopped believing because they had "grown up", no one would have called that sexist. But since Susan is a girl, she's required to be shown in the best light at all times? Stop overreacting. -_-

Okay sorry about that, just not happy with those people right now. *shoots one of them and cackles*

I picked Eustace mainly because i don't feel for him or know him like i do the others.... Even Susan. She annoys me sometimes... But I can't pick her.

About Lewis being Sexist.... *laughs* seriously!? Guys... Lucy came, Jill did... And Aravis was a strong female role. Lucy was also mentioned as being as good as any boy. Besides, Lewis said that Susan's story remains untold, an she might've gotten in later. ;)

That was the whole point of Narnia it sorted out the true belivers in Aslan those who had faith in him got to go to his country and those who did not did'nt. I agree with goteamskipper Lewis was not a sexist, he like Susan lost his faith but found it in later life, Lewis' life is interwoven in his works. :)

In Susan's defence: she is without a mother/authority figure who she respects and feels protective of her siblings, so she can be bossy, and it's not a bad thing that she wants to move on in the world! Aslan wanted them too! Yes, she may have been mean, but she just wanted to be accepted in the real world - she's not a bad person!

I am tired of everyone saying Susan is so terrible. Susan was the BEST character. She was logical and intelligent and brave AND could shoot that arrow straight. She was strict and set in her ways, yes. But doesn't that make her a legitimate character. She wasn't conceited like Peter, or greedy like Edmund, or all around annoying like Lucy. Susan was intelligent and always attempted to make the best decisions for her family. LONG LIVE QUEEN SUSAN! And just because she stopped believing, doesn't mean she forgot Narnia. She had to move on

I've actually never really seen the point in polls where we are supposed to hate on characters... After all this is a FANpop not HATEpop.

And I also find it disgusting how many people picked Susan! Well I wouldn't know about her in the books, but I don't understand why anyone would hate her in the movies. Hate is a very strong word, and I don't dislike or hate characters easily... I don't really hate any characters in the movies or only a few at least!

So I definitely choose NONE!

AudreyFreak picked Lucy:
Apparently most people are morally opposed to character development and not being Mary Sues. Also, while Lewis ISN'T sexist (that's a common misconception due to a lack of reading comprehension that would tell you it's simply Susan valuing superficial things too much over what's really important in life that he meant), you all opposing that reason clearly didn't bother to find out why people are saying that, so you're just as ignorant as you say the Susan defenders are. It's fairly obvious they mean the prim, more ladylike sister getting kicked out of the story while her less girly sister is absolutely fawned over by fans and other characters alike, which makes for some unfortunate implications.

ANYWAY. Lucy or Peter. I thought Peter was quite a little snot in the movie at times, clearly favoring Lucy over his other siblings, especially Susan, who he got unnecessarily snippy with a lot, Eben when she was right. But he's OK in the books.

But Lucy... She's obviously a basically nice kid with good faith but holy crap, lewis just dotes on her as the Special One, which is a little irritating but somewhat understandable given she's based on his godchild. But what's really annoying is how greatly ASLAN himself favors her, for no good reason in particular (in fact Aslan comes off as a bit of a jerk at times, which is unfortunate since he's an occurs parallel of Jesus). She does have a selfish stage later and does get portrayed correctly as wrong for it thankfully, but I find her a little annoying in the movies where she just helps Peter harp on Susan.

None of them are bad but I'm really tired of how the movies all but shove Peter and Lucy in your face as the "better" siblings, when really they just come off as slighty self-righteous Purity Sues.

I LOVE ALL THEM!

I love Peter for his bravery and his loving natural towards his family and Narnia. He's a great leader and more so a great older brother. Turn he can have a bad temper at time and in the movies he let his pride get to, but I will always love as the Magnificent King of Narnia.

I love Susan for her tender heart and comforting natural. She care's for the Narnia people and would take in orphans and treat them like they her children. (example Corin in HHB) It true that she fell away, but as C.S. Lewis said 'She has time to mend.' I for one strongly believe she will. For one of the vary theme in Narnia is redemption and her betrayal is no different from Edmund's and I'll always love her as the Gentle Queen of Narnia

I love Edmund for ability to recolonize his betrayal and doesn't think about going back. He is now one of the most loyal of the family and he makes me laugh. Turn he might make a few sarcastic remakes and he not the friendly of the group, but I still love him as the Just King of Narnia.

I love Lucy for her faith and seemly her endless joy. She is the one I relate to the most, and the one who made me fall in love with theses story's, True she make may come across as annoying to some and she may seem childish, but I so am I. I'll always love her as the Valiant Queen of Narnia.

I Love Eustace for the kindness he develop and for willing to help Narnia and his friends. He's openness to adventurer even and he reason make him at truly great member of the this group. True there are time when he almost deserves his funny name, but I'll always love him as Lord Eustace of Narnia.

I love them all, for their strengths and their weakness. For Aslan himself love them no matter far they may fall and I love in the same way. For I call myself a true Narnia fan and how can any Narnia fan hate or even dislike a Pevensie.
