What should I do about glitches on Sims 3 xbox?

I was playing on Sims 3 xbox and I made a family with two young adults, three teenagers and a child. I got one of the teenagers (George) to kiss one of the other teenagers (Robin-Louise). Then after they made out and everything George went off to play on the swing. I went to the town map and I clicked on the spa I made George go there with Robin-Louise, Robin-Louise got there fine but George wouldn't go and it said he was trapped at home. So I went home and he was stood in mid air near the swings and he couldn't move anywhere, how can I get him to move?
