I first listened to his melodious voice while studying abroad. I´m from Panama. Even though I don't speak arabic I could feel the emotions transmitted by his voice. I had to ask my arab friends for a translation of the songs. Ever since then, Amr Diab has been my favorite arab singer.

Now with the Internet advantage, I have been able to find and listen to more of his songs, and of course to see his face. Very handsome by the way.

I trully believe that music joins and goes beyond problems and differences. His music is an example of this, it transports you to a different place and time.
It´s rithm , instruments,and his wonderful voice makes listening to it memorable.

I have listened to other arab singers, who have very good voices and styles, but he still excels, in my humble opinion.
