I honestly think Katara would be.. She is far too motherly,sometimes she acts likes she is bipolar. She's a hypocrite and even though she cares about about people there are sometimes where you have to be approved by her to be even cared for. Azula would be a good example where she didn't show her motherly side even though she did to Zuko and When she first met Toph she didn't really show it either. it was more bossiness than anything. At times she can be quite naive as well and that isn't a good trait for being a mother. Now granted she does have alot of good traits for being a mother but alot of the traits aforementioned aren't good and would counter most of the other good traits she does have. I could go on about this but I truly believe alot of the other girls would be better mothers as opposed to Katara to be honest. No I am not hating on her. I do like her but I am stating the facts of her personality and I don't feel her personality is best for motherhood.

I agree with the above, and actually don't think many of these girls would make good mothers at all. They're all too busy going to war to pay proper attention to a kid! But Mai or Suki would probably be worst in a more domestic setting. Suki is a warrior and therefore wouldn't have proper time to spend with her kid, and could be gone for months at a time anyway. I picked Mai for worst, though, because she would be the coldest, harshest, least attentive parent I can imagine; assuming she didn't outright loathe the kid. Really, she doesn't seem the patient kind, or the kind to even like children. Zuko wouldn't be a much better father...sure, he learned to care, but he never did get over his anger issues. If he got too mad, he'd probably be dangerous. And what kid wants two parents who angst all the time?
