My shifter on the 5 speed is difficult to engage into each gear...can the linkage be adjusted so the shifter goes into each gear more easily.... Posted over a year ago

The vehicle is a 1997 GS with the non-turbo 2.0 liter engine. The tranny was rebuilt several years ago and it had a new clutch installed at the same time...but it is reallt hard getting it into each gear...especially first! over a year ago
