One of the most popular misconceptions about coffee is that it leads to health problems. Instead, recent studies about coffee have led to a shift in beliefs about coffee and health. Some studies have shown that coffee, taken in moderation, does not normally lead to dehydration, and other studies have shown that consuming a moderate amount of coffee (about two cups a day) does not lead to an increase in blood pressure. For some people, the acids in coffee can irritate the stomach. It's also a misconception that oily coffee beans are better than dull beans. Oily coffee beans are usually a sign of over-roasting. In addition, a darker coffee bean doesn't necessarily mean the coffee is better. It often means, again, that the coffee was over-roasted. Another misconception about coffee is that espresso has more caffeine than a regular coffee. In fact, it has less caffeine

Vienna Coffee - Cheap and as tasty as the coffeeshop

Vienna - style coffee is easy to make from ingredients that are generally on hand anyway and the very first sip transports us to a charming sidewalk cafe in Austria where we can relax and be as creative as we want to be--cooking is, after all, supposed to be fun.
You need : *1 Egg Yolk, *1 tsp Granulated Sugar *1 c Freshly-brewed Coffee (whatever is on sale), *1 tbsp Heavy Cream
1. Separate yolk from egg white and put yolk into coffee mug. Beat yolk with a fork.
2. Add sugar to egg yolk and mix well.
3. Pour coffee into mug with egg yolk and sugar and stir.
4. Add heavy cream to mug, stir and enjoy.
Note: Do not drink coffee prepared this way if you are allergic to eggs or concerned about consuming raw eggs.

Ingredients

* 2 tbsp. sugar
* 1 tsp. instant espresso (Pilon or Cafe Bustelo)
* 1/2 c. water
* 1/2 single pkg. of instant cocoa mix
* 3 c. milk
* 3 - 4 drops vanilla extract
* 3 - 4 drops peppermint extract
* Ice

Directions

1. Combine water, sugar, and espresso in microwave safe glass/mug. Heat on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
2. Once hot, remove from microwave and stir in cocoa mix.
3. In a large cup add ice, milk and extracts.
4. Pour espresso/cocoa mixture into ice/milk mixture.
5. Stir and enjoy.
